You know me, I’m always coming up with crazy ideas on how to list songs/albums I like by picking specific years or genres. Well maybe that isn’t so crazy but I got this crazy idea: can I list ALL the songs I like from the time of my birth (June 9th, or in Billboard chart’s case, the week of my birthday) till now? (Now being unknown cause each day that this post isn’t done, well that’s another day to “Now”!) Then I’m deciding do I list them one by one with many, many pages showing each YouTube video to each song or do I just make a link and let you listen to the YouTube playlist yourself? I do love giving a little sentence or two on why I like a song so I will probably go with listing each one individually as well as giving you a playlist to go checkout on your own. This will probably take me, let’s see, the REST OF MY LIFE, but you know, it’s what they call a “passion project” right? I did list a lot of the music from 1972-1979 but now I have to actually put it on here. I guess I should have killed two birds with one stone and listed it in the post as I was looking at the charts. Something to probably start doing going forward right? This is yet another on going post that will be updated periodically as my life and time allows me to work on it! Enjoy!

June 1972-1979

  1. Song Sung Blues” – Neil Diamond I do love Neil even though he can be very cheesy at times. He is part of my childhood especially the album and movie “The Jazz Singer”. This is just one of those nice tunes to chill with, move your head a little bit. A good humming song when taking a walk.

2. “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” – Roberta Flack A timeless classic that just evokes deep love and connection between two people.
